Britons now spend an average of 15 hours per week online, telegraph.co.uk reports.

In Ofcom’s new Adult’s Media Use and Attitudes Report, the regulatory body found that Brits now spend more time online than ever before.

The rise in smartphone and tablet usage is thought to have driven the increase, with eight of ten Brits now able to access the internet wherever they are – across a variety of devices. The figure of 15 hours per week is up by 50 per cent on that witnessed in 2006.
