Are you twittering?
By Admin • May 11th, 2009 • Category: Lead Story, NewsI am not a tweeter. I don’t have a user name and password at the moment but it looks like I will succumb soon. It seems everyone is on twitter and tweeting away but is this just the same, as when Facebook was launched? Are those of us without an account missing out?
I struggle with text messages and make messages too long; perhaps I should made the call after all.  Men, I think are going to be better at this, as my Husband shows when replying to my text messages with a simple OK or perhaps a thanks. Twitter has a character limit of 140 per tweet, personally I believe I am going to have to practice.
The nice people at Econsultancy have come up with a 20 step guide. Very straight forward… ah run out of excuses, I am going to have to sign up.
Twitter from a business pospective could be a valuable tool for the oneline business. Dell over Christmas did a special offer for those signed up to Twitter for discounts on laptops and computers. Another company has used it as a customer service tool by taking negative feed back and turning it around into positive feed back. A lesson for us all in business?
