Get your next ad on the Telly

As an SME or sole trader you might think that this is a bonkers idea from the house of BBT Webmasters, however it might just be affordable. Google has gone into TV advertising but online instead of on the box.

Google TV ads is a new extention to the already popular Google Adwords. You as an advertiser can reach new users, either nationally or within available local markets, at the price level you choose to pay. Google, with the customer in mind as always,  provides a simple interface and tools that make it easy to advertise on TV. They even help you create and edit the ad and suggest both agencies, people and software to help you achieve your advert!!

You choose the networks, times and locations where you want your ad to appear. You choose the amount you’re willing to pay to have your ad shown, and your ad then competes against other ads eligible to show in the same local or national inventory. (source Google) You then get a report that tells you when your ad was seen, and how many impressions. Simple.

Big corporates are getting user created videos, made by amature budding creative types, to make their adverts for them and paying a much smaller amount compared to working with a production team. This is your way of getting in on the act. If the big boys can do it so can we.
